In the rapidly evolving landscape of digital communication and technological advancement, the Netiquette+ project has emerged as a beacon of innovation and strategic importance in alignment with European priorities. With a focused mission to address the critical role of netiquette in the daily lives of adult learners, educational settings, and workplaces, the project aims to provide tangible and high-quality outcomes to participating organisations. As the global community grapples with the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Netiquette+ project takes centre stage by addressing the common needs and challenging issues exacerbated by the crisis in participating countries. The pandemic has underscored the centrality of adult education and lifelong learning, particularly in fostering digital readiness, an aspect crucial for navigating the challenges and opportunities presented by digital transformation.
Against this backdrop, the Netiquette+ project sets forth a twofold objective: firstly, to equip participating organizations with tangible results that support adult educators in mainstreaming netiquette knowledge and skills; and secondly, to empower low-skilled adults and adult learners with the awareness, knowledge, and skills necessary to engage critically, consciously, and responsibly in the digital society. This dual-pronged approach reflects a comprehensive understanding of the contemporary digital landscape, acknowledging both the needs of educators and the challenges faced by adult learners. As we delve into the core of the Netiquette+ project, it becomes evident that its objectives are not only timely but also imperative for building a foundation of digital inclusivity and competence in our ever-evolving society.

For its transversal elements and innovation, the competence framework has a high transferability potential.
